What is IKAT?
Ikat is a Filipino term for both the process of weaving and the fabric created.
It is the inspiration for IKAT and the foundation of our mission.
Why ikat?
At Ikat Consulting, our mission is to weave meaningful connections between organizations and the communities they serve. Like the intricate art of ikat weaving, we craft tailored strategies that interlace brand storytelling, local partnerships, and sustainable growth—creating a cohesive, authentic pattern that reflects each client’s unique identity and vision.
Who is ikat?
IKAT Consulting was founded by Beatrix Beyer-Johnson, who has a passion for connecting organizations and with her community. As she learned more about the areas where she lived, she realized that there was a number of non-profit organizations and small businesses who were missing opportunities to connect to each other and their markets. In order to make a more impactful change and help more people, she decided to take a risk and start IKAT.
Behind the scenes, she has a small advisory board who supports IKAT and their clients. We believe in the quality of services provided and making sure clients’ needs are met.
We are located in Jacksonville, Florida, and serve the Jacksonville/Duval County community. However, we are open to serving other small businesses and non-profit organizations in other areas.
